Today’s society is increasingly reliant on consuming video media via our televisions, set-top boxes, computers and mobile phones. Delivering video media to these embedded devices requires exponentially increasing bandwidth and data centers whose cost and energy consumption are rapidly becoming prohibitive. And users are expecting that embedded devices increase capability and display content at lower cost and with longer battery life (lower power consumption).

Panève is a technology company enabling powerful, low cost and energy efficient media delivery and display.

Panève develops and licenses software that will dramatically reduce the cost of delivering video media content. The content will be distributed via customer premise set-top boxes instead of expensive server farms. This will allow more content to be delivered faster with less energy and cost.

Panève also develops and licenses hardware to lower the cost and increase processing power for displaying video media content. The programmable microchip that we have developed will replace the current inflexible system that requires separate microchips for each function of the electronic device and for each improvement. Paneve’s new chip architecture will enable lower energy, increased performance, more frequent functional upgrades and much lower production costs.

To most effectively leverage the core capabilities of the technology and achieve rapid commercialization, Panève is pursuing an integrated market entry strategy targeting TV delivered video utilizing a license and royalty business model.
